Abstract

No validated Arabic instrument for measuring health-related quality of life (QOL) in patients with chronic rhino sinusitis (CRS) has been available to date. The aim of this study was to determine the validity of a modified translation of the Sino-Nasal Outcome Test (SNOT test) originally described by Anderson et al in 1998⁽¹⁾ in order to make this self-report measure available both for clinical and research in sino- nasal diseases in the Arabic speaking communities.
