Abstract
Aneurysmal bone cysts (ABCs) are rare benign intraosseus lesions that occur most frequently in long bones of pediatric patients. They seldom affect the craniofacial bones, and sinonasal ABCs are extremely rare. The origin and precise nature of those lesions remain mysterious. They are seen as rapidly expandable, locally-aggressive, benign multicystic lesions. We report a case of ABC arising from the left maxillary sinus of a 10-year-old female child. We describe the clinical, radiologic and histopathologic features of this case and the adopted surgical technique in its management.
